Paperlux Studio is an interdisciplinary design studio based in Hamburg – since 2006, we’ve been creating brands, products and experiences that last.

Our clients include start-ups, heritage companies and international brands – all united by a desire for design with substance, clarity and character. Whether it’s brand development, thoughtful packaging design or a meticulously crafted print piece, we turn ideas into tangible impact.

Our work sits at the intersection of strategy, design and craft. We develop visual identities, packaging and analog brand touchpoints – guiding our clients toward sensory experiences that are both consistent and distinctive. Conceptual thinking meets a refined sense of material, detail and form.

What sets us apart? We don’t just think. We do.
In 2020, we took over a long-standing bookbinding studio we had previously worked with as clients. Today, it is fully integrated into our practice – where prototypes, dummies and bespoke productions are realized with exceptional precision. From collaborators to caretakers, we now carry this craft into the future – driven by design excellence and a deep respect for materials and making.

With the paperlux.store, we’ve also opened up a carefully curated retail space. Alongside our own collections, you’ll find selected design objects and stationery from around the world – including Japan, South Korea and Belgium – that align with our aesthetic values. The store also features products we’ve designed and developed for other brands, now made accessible to a wider audience.
